In a strategic move to bolster cyber resilience among Australian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Zurich Financial Services Australia has partnered with Cowbell, a specialist in adaptive cyber insurance solutions, to launch 'Prime One.' This innovative cyber insurance product is designed to provide comprehensive coverage tailored to the unique needs of SMEs, offering a streamlined and efficient insurance experience.

'Prime One' leverages advanced artificial intelligence to underwrite, quote, and bind applications in under five minutes, significantly reducing the time traditionally required for such processes. This rapid turnaround is particularly advantageous for SMEs seeking prompt and effective cyber protection.

Beyond swift policy issuance, 'Prime One' offers ongoing AI-driven risk ratings and tailored insights. By analyzing millions of data points, the platform benchmarks an organization's cyber posture and identifies potential vulnerabilities. This proactive approach enables businesses to understand and mitigate their cyber risks more effectively.

Additionally, policyholders gain access to Cowbell's suite of cyber resiliency services, including micro penetration testing, training programs, and vendor risk management tools. These resources are designed to enhance an organization's overall cyber security framework, providing a holistic approach to risk management.

Alex Morgan, Zurich's Head of General Insurance, highlighted the importance of this initiative: "As the threat and complexity of cyber risk continues to grow, it is now more important than ever for business owners to have access to insights, expertise, and tools to improve their protection and resilience in a simple and efficient way."

'Prime One' is available through licensed insurance brokers and targets Australian businesses with annual turnovers up to $100 million. This collaboration between Zurich and Cowbell builds upon successful partnerships in the United Kingdom and the United States, where similar initiatives have provided robust cyber protection to numerous businesses.

For Australian SMEs, the introduction of 'Prime One' represents a significant advancement in accessible and efficient cyber insurance solutions. By combining Zurich's underwriting capacity with Cowbell's technological expertise, 'Prime One' offers a compelling option for businesses seeking to enhance their cyber resilience in an increasingly digital landscape.
